Kimberly Smith-Flake, FNP-BC

Kimberly Smith Flake, FNP-BC, started as a registered nurse at the only Level One trauma center in the Mid-south, the Regional Medical Center in Memphis Tennessee. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi while working at Baptist Desoto Hospital ICU in Southaven Mississippi in 2005.

Kimberly Smith-Flake decided to pursue her master’s degree with a specialty in Family Care and graduated from the University of Memphis in 2012. She recently graduated from Purdue Global with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate in January 2024. After completion of the national examination, she will be dually certified as a family nurse practitioner as well as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

She currently is an integral part of the Spruce Health Group team in Aurora Colorado. In this position, she provides clinical restorative care to individuals struggling with metabolic and orthopedic conditions with a focus on regenerative treatment versus medication-only management.

Kimberly Smith-Flake, FNP-BC, had the honor of graduating top of her class and was inducted into Phi Sigma Pi, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and the International Nursing Honor Society. Her passion lies in helping others achieve their goals of personal health through education and adjunctive medical support. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and exploring the outdoors.
