Jennifer Henderson is a board certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with 20 years of ICU nursing experience in cardio thoracic surgery and 5 years as a Nurse Practitioner in Bone Marrow Transplant. You can find her in our Aurora Office with a smiling face!

She completed her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing Administration degree at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and completed her post-masters Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri. When she moved from Texas to Colorado in 2006, After working many years in the ICU and during COVID, Jennifer decided to transition her Nurse Practitioner career and worked for a year in mental health in psychedelic medicine with ketamine therapy. She found a passion working with individuals who struggled with depression, anxiety and PTSD. Before joining Spruce Health Group, she received additional training in regenerative medicine in platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections, facials, Botox, fillers, hormone replacement therapy, and aesthetics. The growing literature in regards to PRP helping patients with sports injuries, soft tissue injuries, degenerative disease, osteoarthritis, inflammation, wound healing and even aesthetics intrigued Jennifer to join the Spruce Health Group regenerative medicine team.

Jennifer wants to help patients reach their overall health goals, improve their quality of life and live life to the fullest. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her teenage son watching him play football and baseball. A true outdoorsman, she enjoys all things Colorado has to offer, such as hiking.
