Cole McMechen is the Clinic Manager at our Aurora location and leads our Aurora team in providing personalized experiences for our patients there. Cole is a double alumnus of Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. McMechen holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Health Systems Management. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a concentration in Ballet back in 2017. Cole has over 5 years of medical experience as a Medical Assistant and nurse in urgent care, OBGYN, General Surgery, Primary care, and outpatient clinics.

Prior to his transition into his medical career, Cole was a professional dancer for over 10 years. Cole worked for Disneyland Parks and Resort, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Cirque Du Soleil, Jersey Boys Canada Tour, which can be seen on NBC’s This is Us, High School Musical 3, and much more! McMechen was awarded over $105,000 in college scholarships in 2013, which allowed for his educational growth in the dance industry. Cole was also an owner of a dance studio in Colorado that was awarded #1 voted studio in Colorado back in 2016.

When Cole is not working, he is usually found hiking on a mountainside, cooking, spending time with his wife and 4 dogs, and exploring the hot springs that Colorado has to offer.

Cole McMechen is passionate about bringing positive patient experiences during a patient’s entire process of medical care, from intake to discharge. He is excited to be a part of the Aurora Spruce Health Group team!
